Latonia is a native of Savannah, but was raised in Estill, S.C. until the age of 14.  She is a product of Beach High School and graduated Cum Laude in June, 2017 with her Bachelors in Human Services and minor is Psychology.  
She presently attends The House That Love Built Ministries where she is a Minister sitting under Pastor Shirley Johnson.  She is also a Published Author, community and women activist, Empowerment Speaker, Coach, and Podcaster.
She is married to James Hendry and has three adult children--Shekeyta, Jamall, and Jalen and 2 grandchildren--Khalilah (Lil Dutchess 5 and Turner (Lil Duke) 4.  
Her passion is to help people and to share her wisdom and insights with them.  She has a special love for women issues and that is her main purpose in the organization.  She thrives on seeing improved relationships with women and drawing all people closer to God.  She loves to joke and have thought-provoking conversations.
Latonia speaks at many churches and events in Savannah and surrounding areas.  She loves to see people draw closer to God and does all that she can to help make that happen.  Her favorite scripture is "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!' 
Latonia is an entreprenuer.  Her company is called Body Beautiiful where she sells natural products and handmade candles. She loves being an entreprenuer and the freedom that it gives her to pursue other interest and be an asset in the community.
She networks at many functions for her business and for the organization.  
She stands on Proverbs 3:5-6 (5) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. (6) In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

     Catherine Brown-Gray

Catherine Gray is a proud member and Co-Chair in the Sister’s Helping Sister’s Social Organization For Women supporting the Vision (support system for women with the initial emphasis on the betterment of women in a stressful society) and Mission (to build a network of women that help other women) to the best of her ability.
Catherine was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia in 1959 to Elijah and Pecola Brown. She is the proud single parent of 3 beautiful daughters, Kanesha, Samantha, and Teffany. She also has 2 Adorable grandchildren, Z’Kaiyah and Kashif.  
Catherine attended the public schools of Chatham County graduating from Sophronia Tompkins High School in 1977. She continued to obtain higher education at Savannah State University Graduating with a Bachelors of Social Work in 2003 and Masters of Social Work in 2004 and a Masters of Arts in Education/Adult Education and Training in 2009. Catherine currently is a Social Worker at Greenbriar Childrens Center from 2005 to present. Her position allows her the opportunity to pursue her passion of providing various outreach services to empower families during a crisis. The Services consist of counseling, parenting education, life skills, and other tools/skills.
Community Service is another passion of Catherine’s that’s always been a part of her life since a young child in elementary school when she would accompany her mother and aunt to the neighborhood playground to feed children and homeless adults during the summers and holidays.
Catherine’s Faith and life is guided by the Lords promise in the following scripture…..“5) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5 & 6 (Selah)


Janice is a upstanding member of the organization for five years before becoming Vice-President in October 2021.  She was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia and attended Savannah-Chatham public schools graduating in 1988 from Windsor Forest High School. In May 2020 she attains her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration specialization in Management. Janice is an Elder at The Birthing Worshiping Cathedral she was Ordained in 2016. Janice is the Outreach Director of her church. She has four grown children Swaine, James, Elijah, and JaNell and has 3 grandchildren.  Janice enjoys volunteering wherever she can be of help. She lives by the verse 6 John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
